Run your own truck and want steady freight instead of one-off broker loads? Accelerated has hauled finished vehicles for the automakers since 1999. Sign on as a sub-hauler and you can pull the freight we post, get paid fast on clear ACH terms, and know what it takes to qualify before you commit.
We hold contracts directly with the automakers, so the freight you pull is booked volume, not a load you had to outbid someone for. We need good sub-haulers to help move the freight, and this page lays out how the deal works.
Fast ACH settlement you control
We hold contracted OEM work, so the freight is planned volume rather than a one-off broker load. The part that helps your cash flow most is how fast you get paid.
30-day ACH: no charge
Settle on standard 30-day terms at no cost. Send a signed bill of lading and invoice, and your ACH is on the way.
15-day ACH: 2.5%
Want it in half the time? Take 15-day terms for a flat 2.5 percent fee. You decide when the speed is worth it.
5-day ACH: 5%
Need cash flow fast? Get paid in as few as 5 days for a 5 percent fee. No factoring company in the middle.

OEM, port, and rail freight
We move new vehicles for major automakers like Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, and Nissan, plus port and rail freight, pulling from approximately 70 locations nationwide. Because we hold the contracts, the freight we post is planned volume.

- Productive miles. Contracted volume keeps your loaded miles working and your week something you can plan around.
- Contracted volume, not one-off broker loads. We hold the OEM contracts, so the freight you pull is planned work.

What it takes to qualify
We tell you exactly what it takes to sign on, up front, so there are no surprises after you are in.
Authority, truck, and experience
- Active operating authority, your own MC and DOT numbers.
- At least 6 months in business as a carrier.
- A car-hauling truck in good condition and a clean safety record.
Insurance you carry
- $1 million in auto liability. The baseline coverage to run our freight.
- Cargo coverage that scales with your car capacity, with Accelerated listed as certificate holder.
- You cover your own truck and cargo, which is normal for a sub-haul deal.

Cargo coverage by trailer capacity
Cargo coverage scales with how many cars your trailer holds. To haul new cars, your certificate must also list Constructive Total Loss and Diminished Value.

We do not accept certificates from carriers or customers. Your certificate has to come from your insurance agent directly.

Lease-purchase runs on our contract driver side
Lease-purchase is part of our contract driver program, alongside owner-operators, rather than the sub-hauler program on this page. More than 100 drivers have paid off their truck leases through it, with no money down upfront to start.

How much do sub-haulers make?
Sub-hauler pay depends on the freight you take, your equipment, and how many cars you move. You settle by ACH on set terms: 30-day free, or faster for a small fee, selected in Mycarrierportal.com.
What do I need to sub-haul for Accelerated?
Your own operating authority, at least 6 months in business, a car-hauling truck in good condition, and the required insurance ($1 million auto liability plus cargo coverage that scales with your capacity). You onboard through MyCarrierPackets.
How does pay work for sub-haulers?

What insurance does a car hauler sub-hauler need?

Can I sub-haul if I don’t own a truck?
Yes. Our lease-purchase program lets you work toward owning a truck with no money down upfront.
